Summary[]

Reinhard Heydrich is one of the main antagonists of Dies Irae.

On the eve of Christmas in Germany during the year 1939, Reinhard, then chief of the Gestapo of the time, was in charge of handling a suspect by the name of "Karl Krafft" after the latter had predicted the attempted assassination of the Führer sometime ago in the same year. While interrogating the mysterious man, Reinhard began to question his mediocre lifestyle and on his "self-restraint" with everything around him. Through Karl Kraffts' words and, after watching a fight happen between four other people, Reinhard made up his mind to no longer hold back, starting off an emotion within him to rise and feel the desire to spread this to everyone and everything around him. Starting with breaking off the fight between the four people and, along with Karl and three other bystanders at the time of the incident, go on to create the most powerful and dangerous organization in the world: The Longinus Dreizehn Orden (or L.D.O. for short).

Years will pass after the formation of the L.D.O. and all thirteen seats are filled, with Reinhard and all others having been bestowed the magical system of Die Ewigkeit from Karl Krafft that allows them to get stronger through the souls of others they've reaped during the last years of the Second World War. During the Fall of Berlin in 1945, a ritual was performed that elevated Reinhard, along with his Three Commanders, to a separate plane of reality, waiting in time for another ritual in another city that will allow Reinhard to rise to Godhood and fight a worthy adversary and fulfill his desires to fight with all of his power and experience the unknown.

Powers and Stats[]

Dimensionality: 3D | 3D | 3D | 3D | Inapplicable

Threat Level: At least Wolf+ | At least Maoh+, likely far higher | At least Dragon-, likely Dragon+ | At least Maoh+, likely far higher | Omni-

Powers and Abilities:

All previous abilities on a higher level in addition to:

  • Ewigkeit (Up to Briah Class, and minus its weaknesses)
  • Soul Manipulation (Temporarily separated Marie from Ren after destroying the latter's Relic that allows the former's soul to be housed and have her powers used)

  • Soul Manipulation (Anyone who gazes upon or directly holds onto the Longinuslanze will have their souls evaporated. His Longinuslanze is also shown to pierce Marie to the extent of separating her from Ren and forcing her back to the Twilight Beach, or leave a hole in her soul to the extent it hasn't healed)
  • Immortality and Regeneration Negation (All Types and High Godly; The spear was capable of piercing a hole in Marie, whose wound never healed despite being a Transcendence God who should possess immortality greater than Reinhard's Einherjar and Frederica from the Throne of Ahura Mazda; the latter was stated by said God of that Throne to have the greatest immortality among mortals. The Holy Lance is said to be capable of of piercing all foes, regardless of whatever rules they impose onto the Physical World. As the "ultimate Ahenrebre", it is meant to bereave "even God of life", as it is both the "weapon of the gods" and "the blade that has slain gods". In Rindou Koga's hands, it was shown to be able to kill Tenma Momiji, a pseudo-God given divinity by Tenma Yato, thus it should be able to kill anyone of divinity as strong as him or below.)

All previous resistances in addition to Ewigkeit Resistances, plus he has Resistance to:

All previous abilities on a higher degree, minus Statistics Amplification and Reactive Power Level, Homing Attack, Immortality and Regeneration Negation, Conceptual Destruction, and Existence Erasure due to being in a restricted state:

  •  Immortality (Type 1 - He and his Einherjar achieved the immortality that they sought before, far beyond even the immortality granted by Ewigkeit alone)

All previous resistances, plus Resistant to:

All previous abilities on a greater level, including the return of his Statistics Amplification and Reactive Power Level, Homing Attack, Immortality and Regeneration Negation, Conceptual Destruction and Existence Erasure

  • All previous abilities on an unimaginably higher level.

Due to reaching the Atziluth Degree, Reinhard has the following abilities of a Hegemony God.

As a God with a Legion, he has access to the following:

  • Shadow Manipulation and Paralysis Inducement (Can use Malleus's Ber'iah to create shadows capable of binding and stopping someone from moving, being able to stop one's breathing or their very soul), and likely more (Although never shown, as he certainly possesses every other power that each member of his legion possesses, he should be able to utilize their Yetzirahs' or other powers like Rusalka's Sorcery.)

Physical Strength: At least Small Building level

Attack Potency: At least Small Building (Far superior to pre Ewigkeit Wilhelm, Wolfgang, Beatrice, and Eleonore; the former two battled one another to such an extent that a nearby car was blown up as a side effect. With a single punch, he shattered Wilhelm's bones and even reduced his organs to mush)

Durability: At least Small Building (Should be comparable to his AP)

Speed: At least Superhuman (Should at least be comparable to or superior than pre Ewigkeit Wilhelm, Schreiber, Eleonore, and Beatrice, who were more than capable of fighting at speeds faster than humans can go or endure at)

Physical Strength: At least Multi Continent level, likely far higher

Attack Potency: At least Multi Continent, likely far higher (Was stated by both Wilhelm and Karl to be the only one who'd have the necessary power to destroy Methuselah, demonstrated by him one-shotting Methuselah and destroying all of his novemdecillion number of nights with Longinuslanze's light of destruction, with which each night Methuselah embodies possesses a scale and density equal to half the planet (see notes below for clarification); in comparison, his Gladsheimr's own light of destruction had heat more than a nuke and power capable of turning whole countries to ash but couldn't harm Methuselah in the slightest. However, Reinhard stated after this that Methuselah did not "meet his expectations" and only regarded him as an "opening performance" for what's to come, implying the latter wasn't deemed impressive by his standards to start getting more serious)

Durability: At least Multi Continent, likely far higher (Should be comparable to his Attack Potency); regeneration and immortality makes him very difficult to defeat

Speed: At least Massively Hypersonic+ via powerscaling (As one of the two leaders of the L.D.O. and strongest of their group, Reinhard should at least be as fast as his subordinates like Wolfgang, Beatrice, and Machina; Wolfgang was able to reach Mach 1000 speeds while still in his Assiah state prior to activating Ber'iah, and the latter two were stated to be able to keep up with Wolfgang up to that point)

Physical Strength: At least Mountain level, likely Country

Attack Potency: At least Mountain+, likely Country (Is still one of the strongest of the LDO alongside Karl Krafft even when subjugated to the restriction of power access placed upon him by the Suwahara ritual. Casually destroyed Ren with a punch that the latter compared to as "trying to pet a newborn kitten"; Ren at that point had fought the likes of Kei, Tubal Cain, and a restricted Machina, albeit Ren is weaker than he otherwise would due to the loss of his Relic and Marie, thus having to use another Relic and using his own soul as fuel to compensate)

Durability: At least Mountain+, likely Country (One of the strongest of the L.D.O. alongside Mercurius even while heavily restricted)

Speed: At least Massively Hypersonic+ (Same as before)

Physical Strength: At least Multi-Continent level, likely far higher

Attack Potency: At least Multi-Continent+, likely far higher (Became even stronger upon completion of the Suwahara Ritual. Said version of Reinhard should be superior to his Dies Irae prologue self during the Berlin ritual in WW2, who was said by Karl Krafft that his "soul grew beyond comparison" with the souls sacrificed in Berlin, likely making him stronger than those before him which should include Methuselah even prior to his ascension through the first Transmutation of Gold. Masada also stated that Reinhard was superior to the characters of Paradise Lost,[Note 1] which includes those who can Beelzebub, Astaroth, and Nacht, who are then in turn superior to his Commanders.)

Durability: At least Multi-Continent+, likely far higher (Far superior than before)

Speed: At least Massively Hypersonic+, likely higher (Likely faster than before. Was able to keep up with Marie Route Ber'iah Ren, who launched more than fifty strikes against him in the span of "less than a tenth of a millisecond", which is this fast. Ren's initial/incomplete use of his Ber'iah in another timeline was able to make him perceive Cain using Beatrice's Ber'iah to go at lightning speed to appear frozen, even making him fast enough to blitz them. After properly mastering his Ber'iah, Ren was able to briefly blitz and surpass Assiah Wolfgang in speed, who was stated to be faster than Cain's lightning and was too fast for base Ren to perceive prior to Briah, prompting the latter to go Yetzirah to avoid their blitz)

Physical Strength: Meta-Dimensional

Attack Potency: Meta-Dimensional (As a Hegemony God, Reinhard is a God who possess the ability to paint over all that is in creation. Everything from the universe/multiverse and all of its nigh-infinite laws to even those that exist beyond it such as the Singularity, a blank white canvas that exist underneath the world and is where all laws and concepts sprang forth from, and the Throne, a hyper-dimensional space indescribable in nature and lacks the very concept of time, all follow suit to the changes and modifications of that God's Craving, including laws and concepts like higher-dimensions. As a God, Reinhard's power is normally equal to that of the Moment and the Morningstar, with him being higher to match the Mercury due to his status as the latter's Apopteosis. Reinhard was also capable of destroying the Throne as an after-effect to his fight with Mercurius)

Durability: Meta-Dimensional (Endured and tanked attacks from Ren and Mercurius respectively in Marie and Rea Route)

Speed: Omnipresent in his territory (A Hegemony God is all-present wherever their Law is painted over, thus they are everywhere and can perceive everything that happens in those territories)

Intelligence: At least Genius (Even when he was human, for Reinhard, becoming the Chief of the Gestapo was akin to breathing for him. After his encounter with Mercurius, he learned from him the many techniques of Die Ewigkeit until he mastered it prior to his ascension in Berlin despite it being a magical system Mercurius tailor made for his living Ahnenerbe and successor. Due to his mastery of the art as well as his charisma and experience as a leader from his time in the Gestapo, he is one of the very few capable of handling the knowledge and memories of those whose souls he absorbed (the other being Albedo), granting him sheer experience and skill that is second to none when it comes to combat. His greatest quality, however, is his charisma and skill as a commander, capable of having even lunatics and psychopaths serve under him with utmost loyalty. This extends not only to the fangs of the LDO, but even his legion of souls numbering in the millions, using each and everyone one of them to great effect like a commander would to his soldiers in warfare. His great leadership shows in his commanding prowess to send out his legion to fight his enemies, even if they are embodiments of a worldly concept. Even amongst the Gods, he was stated as the God with the greatest tactical commanding prowess)

Stamina:

At least Above Average (Should at least be comparable to pre Ewigkeit Wilhelm and Wolfgang, neither of whom were tired from fighting each other and went on to fight Eleonore and Beatrice shortly after. Even before fighting the latter two, Wolfgang was also injured by being shot four times and still kept on fighting)

At least High (Die Ewigkeit is what imbues the user with stamina that defies physics and thus, should be comparable to Wilhelm Ehrenburg). Likely Limitless (By arranging his souls and reducing their upkeep cost, Reinhard can keep his Be'riah active for 2–3 months straight without ever losing a single soul; in comparison, other Hegemony Be'riah's can only last dozens of minutes at a time and require souls to keep them up while Transcendent Be'riah's can last hours but are the same in terms of ability upkeep. As Reinhard is the one who was able to provide Wilhelm his souls which were constantly be used up and regenerated due to the nature of his Gladsheimr upon making him a temporary Einherjar, which is surely the same for those who are permanent like his Three Commanders, he should be able to do the same himself and thus possess endless stamina)

Limitless (After Issac was implanted into Gladsheimr and his ascension following the Berlin Ritual, Reinhard had achieved a state of true immortality and existence to where his Be'riah was constantly kept up for 60 years after WW2, far beyond the max that any Ber'iah in Omega Ewigkeit can hold up and even surpassing the duration his Briah before that could have theoretically be held up for)

Limitless

Range:

Melee range

Extended melee range with Yetzirah, at least hundreds of meters to hundreds of kilometers with range attacks (Should be comparable to Eleonore, who can see and attack at ranges as far as 500 meters away. The light of Gladsheimr is a beam that can wipe out countries, thus it likely would have the range to wipe them out in a single blow). Planetary, likely Interdimensional with Gladsheimr (Gladsheimr passively crushes the very concepts of distance and coordinates, denying anyone from entering without permission regardless of how long it takes while enabling anyone he invites to come regardless of where they are in the world. Said castle while active was stated to be in a state that was detached from the World of Foreknowledge.)

Extended melee range with Yetzirah, at least hundreds of meters to hundreds of kilometers with range attacks, Interdimensional (Through the Ritual of Berlin, Reinhard's soul grew to an even "higher stage". With it, he and his Gladsheimr became a perpetual Singularity within Omega Ewigkeit, in which it is a state that is a "Creation only edging on Emanation").

Extended melee range with Yetzirah, at least hundreds of meters to hundreds of kilometers with range attacks, up to Transcendent (Upon all swastikas of the Golden Transmutation ritual, the Law of his Gladsheimr starts to expand, gradually growing bigger and bigger until all of creation is covered in his Law)

Transcendent (Hegemony Gods emanation constantly expands until all creation is painted in their Law, from the very universe/multiverse to even the Throne, an indescribable space of higher-dimensional nature that also lacks the concept of time)

Weakness:

None notable.

As a man who expresses his affection through the heat of battle and sheer destructive force, Reinhard will not always use the entirety of his strength or use all of the abilities that are in his arsenal to prolong his enjoyment of a fight.

Same as before. His strength is restricted by the Swastikas, with several of his abilities, such as the undodgeable nature of the Longinuslanze Testament or its all ending power being sealed until all eight Swastikas are opened. If not aided by Mercurius, the resurrection of his Einherjar take some time and are not instantaneous even if they were to fall while within Gladsheimr, which is further compounded by him being in another dimension and restricted by the swastikas.

Same as Interview with Kaziklu Bey key.

None notable.

Arsenal[]

His Relic, Longinuslanze TestamentCovenant - The Holy Spear of Destiny. His Castle, Gladsheimr.

Noteworthy Techniques and Abilities[]

Longinuslanze TestamentCovenant - The Holy Spear of Destiny: Reinhard’s Ahnenerbe, Materialization-Type. Commonly known as the Spear of Destiny, the spear that infamously pierced the son of God. It is a weapon only he himself can wield due to being the most charismatic being in the world, representing the form of his Valhalla, as well as the pinnacle of all Ahnenerbe. The spear is described as being “Fast like Albedo, never missing like Rubedo, and all-killing like Nigredo”. In other words, the spear moves faster than its target, always chases its targets and kills them on a physical, spiritual, and conceptual level. Reinhard can also instantly curse the target with a Stigma with the Longinuslanze should he choose to at anytime, making them a part of his Legion and marking them as his Einherjar and slave upon death, where their soul will automatically be dragged to Gladsheimr. Reinhard can also use the spear to project beams of golden light, turning anyone and anything in its path to ashes and can even wash away the Laws of Mercurius' World.

Additionally, the spear can also ignore the concept of distance, as Rindou Koga (his Ahnenerbe's successor in Kajiri Kamui Kagura) was able to do this through her use of it against the Tenma's and Valerian Trifa was able to use this to get close to Wolfgang and attack him in surprise while the latter had his True Ber'iah active, where even an incomplete activation of it caused distance to increase between him and Ren despite the former not moving at all and the latter getting a headstart to attack. This aspect allows Reinhard to have the spear fired at his enemies in an instant without having to cross any distance at all. The spear can also pierce through other "worlds" such as Wilhelm's Ber'iah, which creates a world that isolates itself from the rest and was shown to even pierce a Gudou God like Marie, which in some timelines showed that said stabbing went as far as to rip her away from Ren, severing their connection on a spiritual level and forcing her back to the Twilight Beach. In most occassions, however, the stabbing causes a hole to appear, with said wound remaining until she ascends to Hegemony God status.

Aside from Reinhard himself, those who look upon the Lance itself will have their minds burned and their souls erased. Even those of the L.D.O., who are capable of fighting Methuselah even while under the latter's presence of darkness, would have had trouble maintaining their consciousness while in its presence. Those who attempt to lay hands on it will also have their existence erode the longer they hold onto it; even Ren Fujii, the living and autonomous Ahnenerbe of Mercurius who has the unique capacity to wield any other Ahnenerbe in the series regardless of compitability such as Beatrice's, Rusalka's, and even Kei's exclusive family Relic, was having his body and soul destroyed when he attempted to use it against Reinhard during the events of Kei Route.

No mortal man under the sun, no powers that be, no chains that bind shall constrain Him,
for He dwells in the nether; a soul from the grave is He. His shackles crumble, his chains fall limp onto the ground before His will; He, the Dweller in the Grave, His cries of mingling agony and madness.
No man, no divine breath that course the veins of this universe hold the power to sway Him. And so the Lord asked – what manner of beast are you? Your lips breathe folly; your question a sage intellect would never hatch.
If you know not what I am – very well, I shall answer. Know my name, for it is Legion.
Ber'iah: Gladsheimr - Gullinkambi Fünfte Weltall!

– Reinhard enacting his Ber'iah

Gladsheimr - Gullinkambi Fünfte WeltallApoptheosis - The Fifth Universe of Gold: Reinhard’s Ber'iah, derived from his desire "I want to love All and Everything". A Craving born out of wanting to embrace everyone and everything in existence. However, that desire is synonymous with that of destruction. In other words, the desire to love all and everything is equal to that of wanting to destroy all and everything. To lay waste to all that stands before him is to cherish and adore them. The desire to consume all and everything, to have them fight, kill and destroy, and be reborn to do it all over again and again. A desire that can only belong to none other than the Golden Beast himself.

It manifests itself as a massive, hellish castle the size of a city with an interior entirely made out of the millions of souls Reinhard has devoured. Its full activation is also capable of soul-ripping those who aren't able to resist its sorcery into his castle to become part of it, being able to absorb all eight hundred thousand souls of Suwahara City's populace, and those whose souls aren't ripped out are forcibly taken in, unable to leave unless granted so by Reinhard himself. Anyone that is killed within the castle or cursed with a Stigmata via Longinuslanze Testament and dies becomes a part of Reinhard’s Legion of Einherjar, giving him all of their memories, experiences, and powers. These Einherjar are a part of the castle and thus Reinhard himself. They are immortal spiritual warriors who fight, kill, and resurrect to fight and kill again over and over, never knowing of true death for as long as Reinhard and Gladsheimr exist. He can also summon the Einherjar he's obtained to do battle alongside him, giving him the advantage through sheer numbers via this method.

Due to its nature as a Ber'iah that overwrites the laws of the world and being detached from the World of Foreknowledge, Gladsheimr also destroys the concepts of distance and coordinates, making those who try to invade be unable to go near it while those he invites can enter regardless of where they are in the world. Even before the ritual of Berlin that resulted in Gladsheimr being in a state of permanent activation through the insertion of Issak and a certain act done by Mercurius, the castle had a much longer time limit than most Ber'iah's: where as those of Hegemony Ber'iahs could only last for dozens of minutes or less, and Transcendence Ber'iahs can last up to a few hours tops, Gladsheimr was capable of going active for as long as 2 to 3 months and did not lose any of its strength from such duration unlike most Ber'iah's. This is due in part to Reinhard's talent and skill as a commander. Through arranging all of the souls into a formation, he can evenly spread out the burden of keeping the castle active by reducing the consumption of his souls. And by leading and inspiring his legion of souls, he can elevate even a weak soul with the splendor of a hero, increasing the quality of their souls beyond that of a normal one.

  • Skull Army: Due to his castle being made entirely out of skeletons, Reinhard can shape them into many shapes and forms. As many of his soul stock is made up of the many soldiers of the German Army who died during World War II, including the infamous Waffen SS, Reinhard usually sets them up into formations of skeletons and their weaponry from the war, even summoning war machines like tanks, fighter aircraft, and battleships, with enough numbers and firepower to combat a being as powerful as the personified God of Darkness. Due to being a part of Reinhard, all of these skeletons and weapons have the ability to damage and destroy the soul just like the Ahnenerbe of the L.D.O as well as bringing anyone they kill into becoming part of Reinhard's legion of souls. In addition, their ammunition will never run out as it replenishes after they are restored from destruction by Reinhard's power should they somehow fall in battle (even if their soul is destroyed) due to Gladsheimr being able to continuously revive and recreate its souls and even their weapons. Because of this, it is virtually impossible to try and thin their numbers as long as Reinhard and his castle exists.

Some of the near 40 divisions Reinhard has manifested includes:

  • Marseille: Reinhard can call upon the ace pilot of World War II known as the "Star of Africa", manifesting behind him the latters' machine guns from his fighter plane. These machine guns can predict the future position of Reinhards' adversary, where it proceeds to shoot them down with accurate and powerful shelling.
  • 8th SS-Cavalry Division - Florian Geyer: Erects a wall of skeletons below Reinhard's target, creating an obstacle between them and limiting their movement.
  • 9th SS-Panzer Division - Hohenstaufen: Manifests a hundred tank turrets, destroying everything in their way with powerful barrages of tank shells and explosions.
  • 12th SS-Panzer Division - Hitlerjujand: Creates hundreds of Panzerfausts, where Reinhard shoots his enemy in an incessant bombardment of warheads.
  • 24th SS-Mountain Division - Karstjäger: Summons numerous landmines and panzerfaust warheads to explode upon the enemy.
  • 36th SS-Grenadier Division - Dirlewanger: Reinhard implodes a flock of skeletons from below his foe, releasing numerous bayonets to pierce them through.
  • Zonnenkind - Gladsheimr: An extension of Gladsheimr, Isaak (Reinhard’s son and the entity who manages the castle) serves as a sacrificial object for Reinhard to ascend to Godhood. Serving many other purposes such as making the castle permanent to bringing it out the physical plane (through a sacrificial ritual involving the souls of tens of thousands plus the deaths of at least eight members of the L.D.O.), Issak also acts as the castles "immune system" by summoning the souls of Gladsheimr to protect Reinhard should harm ever come to him as well as erecting skeletal arms from the castle within to either crush or hold enemies down (even those who can endure nukes such as the normal peers of the L.D.O). Due to being connected to the castle, Issak is aware of everything that happens inside it, allowing him to act accordingly and take care of any situation immediately if needed.
  • Longinus Dreizehn Orden: In addition to his Skull Army and even the Waffen SS that make up the bulk of his Legion of souls, Reinhard also can have the members of the L.D.O who perish as part of his Legion either through a stigmata, through sacrifices for the Transmutation of Gold ritual, or by chance perishing while within Gladsheimr. With this, Reinhard can summon any of his subjects to do battle, enabling them to continue the fight at his side.
    • Tubal Cain: An immortal undead monster who has the ability to decompose anything and anyone, from their breathing and heartbeat right down to rotting their very soul. Has an inferior replica of Reinhard's lance, which allows it to use the abilities of those it has slain.
    • Kaziklu Bey: A vampire who can drain the energy out of everything in his surroundings, regardless of whether or not they are organic, inorganic, tangible, or intangible.
    • Valkyrie: A swordswoman who wants to be the light that guides her comrades to Valhalla. She has the ability to become pure lightning, thus overwhelming her opponents with sheer speed and immunity to physical strikes.
    • Leonhard August: A young girl with a passion of fire that gives her the warmth of days long gone. She has the ability to become a being of pure flame, emitting enough to instantly vaporize metal while also becoming virtually impossible to strike with physical attacks.
    • Machina: Einherjar Nigredo. A powerful being that can erase the existence of whatever he hits with his fists, be it living beings, objects, fire, lightning, or even concepts themselves (ex. Methuselah) as long as it has a history.
    • Malleus Maleficarum: A witch who has the ability to manipulate shadows and can summon torture tools out from her own shadow. Anyone that steps on it will be paralyzed, even unable to breathe if she so desires.
    • Samiel Zentaur: Einherjar Rubedo. Her ability makes it so that her flames never miss (her false Ber'iah makes it an ever-expanding fireball until it has taken out all the targets), has virtually infinite range and its temperature exceeds 10,000 °C, its heat surpassing the center of a nuclear explosion. Using the true form of her ability, she can transport the target and herself to the inside of the barrel of her Holy Relic, making it essentially impossible to escape as it is a pocket dimension unto itself. Her flames are also able to ignore one's resistance to heat as it directly burns the soul.
    • Hrozvitnir: Einherjar Albedo. Has the ability to always be faster than the opponent, regardless of whether they move beyond the speed of light or not and whether they slow him down or speed themselves up through time manipulation unless they outright stopped his movement entirely.

Day of wrath and doom Impending, David's words with Sibyl's blending, Heaven and Earth in ashes ending. Oh what fear man's bosom rendeth, when from heaven the Judge descendeth, on whose sentence all dependeth. Wondrous sound the trumpet flingeth, through earth's sepulchers it ringeth, All before the Throne in bringeth. From the dust of earth returning: man for judgement must prepare him. Spare O God, in mercy spare him. Lord all-pitying, Jesus blest, Grant them thine eternal rest. Amen
Atziluth: Du-sollst――Dies Irae!

– Reinhard manifesting his Law

Du Sollst - Dies IraePour forth from the Chaos - Day of Wrath: The manifestation of Reinhard’s Law, one that follows through with his desire of "I love all and everything". A desire to spread his love, and thus destruction to all things in creation, Dies Irae brings forth the scope of Reinhard's desire from Gladsheimr outwards into the rest of creation. The result is a world of conflict, where those of past, present, and future will all fight and resurrect for eternity as part of Reinhard's Legion of Einherjar. As One in All, All in One, Reinhard and his Legion of Einherjar, numbering in the millions, all fight together, representing an army that fights with and led by their commander into battle.

  • Kamunagara: The physical manifestation of a Hegemony God's Law, existing as a universe within them. A Power Vision to conquer all, a feature shared by all Hegemony Gods and their Legion. The manifested Kamunagara can be manipulated to move and attack, with the user's Craving being used as the source for attacks. The user can also potentially take their target inside their Kamunagara, whereupon they are essentially inside that user's World from which there are no blind spots around nor can surprise attacks be made. When summoned, however, the Kamunagara can potentially suffer damage, of which some are received back to the user though due to simply being a Power Vision, the user will not die even if it were erased though they will still suffer major damage in the process. Reinhard's takes the form of a golden lion.
  • Legion Reincarnation: A unique ability a Hegemony God can possess. Souls that are taken under a Hegemony God's law can be dyed in their color, being granted divinity and putting them to a level of existence equal to that of the God themselves, becoming pseudo-Gods as a result. So long as these souls never leave their God's territory, they will have divinity equal to theirs. Souls that are granted divinity are also protected by their God's law; in Reinhard's case, they become immortal einherjar able to regenerate and resurrect endlessly for as long as Reinhard exists. Of those in Reinhard's Legion, they are the L.D.O., the German Army, and any other soul he takes into his Law. This empowerment is so great that just the German Army portion of his Legion alone has grown tremendously to the point of threatening Gods like himself.
  • Power of the Legion: On top of his ability to summon his Legion to fight at his side in battle, Reinhard empowering his Legion to Godhood goes as far as to enable him to utilize the powers and abilities of those under his domain. Not only has he taken in the memories and experience of his legion, he is also capable of using any powers they may have had if they possessed any (Ex. Bey, Malleus, Rubedo, Albedo, etc.).

Quotes[]

I distanced myself from the thrill of men, labeling all as waste by the wayside as I passed through. I wished to love all and everything, yet none could withstand my love.
Ah, why can't you endure my touch? If a mere graze upon your delicate skins sends you shattering to a myriad pieces, how can you hope to withstand my embrace? Such cruelty.
Why must this world - from the tiniest blade of grass to the vastest of mountains- be so painfully fragile?
So be it, then. My love shall take the form of destruction. I shall ravage so I can cherish. I adore the weak that bow before me, as well as the defeated that bend their knees. My love expands to the vassals that rebel, and those that mean me harm.
I love all and everything. And so shall I lay waste to all before me.

– Reinhard's Hegemony

However, Karl, I happen to be the greedy sort. When partaking in a war, I can't help but wish for an absolute victory.
...Indeed. To achieve an absolute victory is to win on every front.

– Reinhard to Karl Krafft

I am not as impressive as you make me out to be.
I do not know restraint. As such, I do everything with Sincerity. And before I knew it, that way of life gained me the status I currently have. I am akin to an unstoppable automobile. Regardless of how efficient one's engine is, anything that runs without rest would eventually travel around the planet once or twice.
I cannot begin to fathom what you expect from me, but that is the extent of the person known as Reinhard Heydrich. If you wish for amusement you have a number of interesting folk right there. Go to them.

– Reinhard to Karl Krafft

I understand. You are prepared to claim my life at the cost of yours. I see. Excellent. Then stake your all and unleash a strike befitting our finale. Two kinds of strength exists: One meant for others, another meant for oneself. Neither is inherently superior to the other, and the only difference lies in the extent of your beliefs. You either think yourself as absolute...or plead for the absoluteness of another. If you think yourself a knight of the goddess, temper that resolve to perfection. Do so, and you have earned my respect. I shall not belittle it. However, you must not disappoint me...

– Reinhard last words to Ren

Why the grief? You and your comrades have emerged the victor. Let pride fill your heart and do not devalue my defeat. Tell me is the belief of others truly that important? If my lack of it had been the cause of my defeat, and the support you received the reason you have won...I implore you to prove it. Karl seems to have been defeated, as well...Heheheh...You must swear on it, for such is the duty of the victor. It is your obligation to demonstrate that our defeat was truly absolute. Fail to do so, and I will make my return. After all, it would mean I was never truly defeated. I bear no regrets, and I would prefer if you do not give me any. The strength responsible for my downfall must be the greatest of all. I would be thankful if you eased my heart with the belief I was not defeated by something trifling.

– Reinhard last words to Ren

Notes[]

  1. Official translations state that Methuselah's darkness amount to countless numbers of them, while the original (Japanese) version states there are novemdecillion numbers of them. The kanji for novemdecillion (那由多), meaning Nayuta, is a Japanese term for a large number that can translate to 10^60 (in normal numerical terms, that's 1 followed by 60 zeroes). This statement has been repeated several times over, while the localization only stated them to be countless twice and the last only states it as millions. It should be noted that due to the way Mercurius' Throne works (which includes encompassing an entire multiverse that spans infinite parallel universes), and that novemdecillion is just how many loops Masada stated Mercurius has looped over and over (with Mercurius himself not able to recall how many he actually did), it's very possible for it to be countless or even infinite just as the official translation uses. However, as the localization shows, it's very inconsistent whereas the original visual novel stayed consistent throughout. Thus, it's preferable to use the original due to at least having a definite and quantifiable number of nights that's consistently stated.
  2. Part of Reinhard's tiering stems from WoG scaling, which has been consistent with who Masada scales his characters of Shinza from across its works (including his other series, Senshinkan). There exist one particular statement that was previously used by certain fans, which is scaling Yakou Madara of Kajiri Kamui Kagura to Reinhard (and vice versa). However, Masada clarified in the Kajiri Kamui Kagura fanbook that when he meant Yakou is equal to Reinhard (or vice versa), he meant in the sense of both receiving blessings from their respective Throne Gods that are of the "same scale" but still possess minor differences from each other. Thus, one should not use this particular form of scaling for either of these two, specially if their feats and powers do not come close.
  3. The defenses Reinhard gained from Mercurius after Berlin are unknown in number to how many he was protected with. Of the ones outright named (if not truly known), Reinhard has protection against physical, magical, time, and accident based attacks and abilities. While magic and time are straightforward by the feats Reinhard showed in resisting against, the official English translation wrote his other defenses as "anti-physical" and "anti-accident". These were translated from the original Japanese.[Note 2] 物理 literally means "laws of nature", as in the laws of physics. While 偶然 could be translated as accident as the localization chose, it can also mean chance and coincidence, or how likely things could happen. Thus, it's possible to refer to as "accident" as something that can occur randomly.

Calc results/Translations/Etc.[]

  1. The characters in "Paradise Lost" are strong! But how strong are they? I'd say it's fair to have them as stronger than the Battalion Commanders in "Dies Irae" but weaker than Reinhard. Seeing as the characters in "Kajiri Kamui Kagura" don't reach Ren or Reinhard's level, the characters in "Paradise Lost" could be a little stronger than the characters in "Kajiri Kamui Kagura".
  2. すなわち対魔、対物理。対時間、対偶然。/In other words, anti-magic, anti-physical, anti-time, and anti-chance.
