Introduction
Matter Manipulation is the ability to manipulate the particles that make up the matter and bonds between them. Everything in universe is made up of molecules, which are made up of atoms, and an atom consists of sub atomic particles like protons, neutrons and electrons.
Hence, it depends on what level the ability works, which totally depends on the showings of the ability and character. Matter manipulation bypasses generally conventional durability, and is considered a broken ability depending upon the level of its usage
Types
Listed below are different levels of matter manipulation, which are classified into types for easier understanding
(1) Unspecified level: Characters whom have ability to affect matter and shape it accordingly, but their power does not work on molecular, or they simply do not have showing/proof of their ability working on that level come under this type.
(2) Molecular Level: Characters that can manipulate matter on molecular level come under this type. There are several benifits of this ability such as changing the molecular structure of opponents body, control of one's body on molecular level by which you can change the shape and size of the body as you please or simply destruction of a matter on molecular scale. However, they wouldn't be able to change existing elements as such an ability is tied to the nature of atoms rather than molecules.
(3) Atomic Level: Characters that can manipulate matter on atomic level come under this type. Users can use all the abilities mentioned above, but with more freedom. The user gets ability to transmute one thing into another, completly rearrange atomic structures to create virtually anything, among other things
(4) Subatomic Level: Those who are able to manipulate matter at the subatomic level are able to manipulate the fundamental particles that make up atoms, giving them even more freedom and control over matter. This gives the users many other abilities like Physics manipulation, Strong force, Weak Force, Radiation, among others.
