Summary[]
Josuke Higashikata (東方 仗助 Higashikata Jōsuke), nicknamed JoJo, is the illegitimate son of Joseph Joestar and the main protagonist of Part IV: Diamond is Unbreakable.
Josuke was born and raised in Morioh, Japan without meeting his father for much of his life. As a child, when he was only four, Josuke developed his Stand, Crazy Diamond, as a result of DIO's usage of the Stand Arrow. 12 years later, he is tracked down by his nephew, Jotaro Kujo, who informs him of his heritage and warns him of the dangers lurking in Morioh.
Powers and Stats[]
Dimensionality: 3D
Threat Level: Wolf physically, Demon- with Stand, Higher when enraged
Powers and Abilities:
- Josuke and Crazy Diamond have the standard abilities of Stand Physiology
- Berserk Mode (When enraged, usually if he feels his hair is insulted, Josuke's Stand powers distort and he becomes so mad that he becomes blind with rage)
- Restoration:
- Matter Manipulation and Time Manipulation (Josuke's Stand, Crazy Diamond, has the ability to restore destroyed matter. This works by restoring something back to its original state. This has been used to restore a photo reduced to scraps, turn ingrediants back to their pre-made forms, fix up furniture in a short amount of time, turn asphalt back to coal tar, breaks apart part of a wall and fixes it back as a makeshift shield, restore a destroyed road using fragments embedded in his body (which also drags him out of attacks if needed))
- Healing (Of others; Crazy Diamond can restore people and even animals to their original state. With it, it was able to heal a turtle after being thrown against a wall, heal Okuyasu after he was shot by mini bullets, heal both Jotaro and Koichi who respectively suffered these injuries, restore a broken tooth and broken bones, and even a person who was being blown up)
- Fusionism (On top of restoring objects to their original state, Josuke can also use his restoration ability to fuse two people to objects, such as fusing Angelo to a rock and Enigma to a book)
- Limited Homing Attack (If Josuke puts his blood on his opponent and a projectile, then he can cause the projectile to home in on his opponent)
Physical Strength: Wall level physically, Multi Block level with Stand, Higher when enraged
Attack Potency: Wall (While under Surface's influence, Elbowed Koichi so hard he flew through the air and burst through a metal door), Multi Block with Crazy Diamond (Significantly above Echoes Act 2. Crazy Diamond was stated to get much stronger as Part 4 progressed. Comparable with Red Hot Chili Pepper and forced him to drain Morioh of power in order to surpass Crazy Diamond. Managed to briefly contend with an amplified Akira Otoishi before being overpowered. While at his limit, he dealt critical damage to Killer Queen to a less but comparable degree as Star Platinum), Higher while enraged (Power increases with anger. While he failed to visibly harm him, he managed to break through a casual Star Platinum's guard with several blows and surprised Jotaro with his power, who required time stop to avoid further confrontation). Can ignore conventional durability by fusing people with other objects.
Durability: Wall (Took a punch from Jotaro. Endured being flung back at 70 k/ph), possibly far higher (Early in Part 4, he took a quick jab from a casual Star Platinum before his stand can fully manifest. Later on, he took a hit equal to that of his Stand's own attack. Towards the near end of Part 4, he was able to survive a point-blank explosion from Killer Queen's explosive embued bubble albeit in serious condition). Multi Block with Crazy Diamond (Forced Red Hot Chili Pepper to drain Morioh of power to defeat Crazy Diamond and took multiple blows from an empowered Red Hot Chili Pepper and was fine minutes later), Higher when enraged.
Speed: Peak Human with at most Relativistic+ reactions (Could manifest Crazy Diamond before a bullet hit him at point-blank range. Could react to Red Hot Chili Pepper, who could emergeg from wires at lightspeed though is demonstrably slower than him. Can consistently react to Bad Company). At least Relativistic+, possibly Speed of Light with Crazy Diamond (Could throw a punch and strike Red Hot Chili Pepper before he exited a wire. While slower, it could contend with an empowered Red Hot Chili Pepper), up to FTL (Surpassed Red Hot Chili Pepper in speed while at point-blank range), far higher while enraged (Continuously out-sped Killer Queen, who was slower than, but comparable to his base state. Jotaro made note of his speed while he was furious). Varies, up to FTL with Restoration (Could restore Okuyasu's body after it was taken away at light-speed, restoring him back before Red Hot Chili Pepper could reach his destination).
Intelligence: Genius. Josuke's years of experience with his Stand have left him a skilled and inventive fighter, much like his father. He uses Crazy Diamond's ability to restore objects creatively, to form containers to trap opponents, create hazards by breaking down various materials, dodge attacks by restoring debris stuck in his wounds to its rightful place, pulling him along, and to fire perfectly accurate projectiles by restoring them to a bit of the original structure stuck on his target.
Stamina: Superhuman. Josuke can take severe punishment and keep on fighting, withstanding being hit by several of Killer Queen's explosions and pushing onwards, despite having wood fragments jammed into his stomach and leg, making it hard for him to walk
Range: Standard Melee Range physically and with Crazy Diamond (It has an effective manifestation range of 1-2 Meters[1]), When utilizing Restoration, the objects in question will take the shortest path to become full again (Though it doesn't apply to things that have been erased or vanished from the world[2]), at least Tens of Meters with projectiles (Can flick things like bullets 50-70m before outside conditions affect accuracy[3]; hit Bug-Eaten from 60 meters away[4])
Weakness: Standard Stand Physiology weaknesses. Cannot use Crazy Diamond's ability on himself, requiring himself to recover naturally. Crazy Diamond's ability cannot also be used to resurrect the dead, cure diseases, or restore anything that has been erased from the world such as those affected by The Hand. If he feels that his hair has been insulted, Josuke will fly into a blind rage which affect his efficiency to think rationally in battle.
Arsenal[]
His Stand, Crazy Diamond.
Noteworthy Techniques and Abilities[]
- Crazy Diamond: Josuke's Stand, a close-range power Stand possessing incredible strength and speed, it is a formidable opponent both in close quarters and from a distance whilst using small objects, thanks to its extreme precision.
- Restoration: Crazy Diamond can, with a touch, "restore" any object, returning it to a previous state. While this has obvious applications in healing, Josuke is creative with its usage and can utilize it in a number of ways. He can break objects and materials down into their raw components, doing so to reduce asphalt to coal tar, and can fuse beings with other objects by destroying these objects around them before restoring them. With this ability, Josuke can even circumvent his issues with range, firing projectiles that home in on targets covered with a piece of the original substance. However, Crazy Diamond cannot restore Josuke's own wounds, heal diseases, retrieve things erased from space, or bring the dead back to life.
