Summary[]
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a continuing manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. It currently has eight Parts and two different timelines, the first six belonging in one same timeline and the latest two in the other. A ninth part to the JoJo series, taking place in the same timeline as the latter two parts, is also coming and will serialize in 2023.
Within them, various members of the Joestar family (always being capable of being nicknamed JoJo) embark on bizarre journeys in different time periods. In the first six Parts, the main influence of these quests is somehow related to the malevolent Dio Brando, directly or indirectly with some parts influenced by other malicious antagonists throughout the series.
In Part seven, it is caused and driven by a mysterious "Holy Corpse" that catches the attention of several other figures including a certain world leader.
In Part eight, the story centers around a mysterious fruit that have the power to "heal" others, with many also wanting attention to it for their own purposes.
Power of the Verse[]
Power-wise, the characters range from Wall level for most super-humans to as high as Multi Block level, with some having the durability to take attacks of such level. Speed-wise, even the lowest of feats have characters react to bullets either at close range or multiple of them fired in a spray. The highest of the top tiers have them reach speeds near light or faster than light even in terms of reactions, with a couple having the potential to reach infinite speeds.
The verses greatest feature is its plethora of hax, mainly in the form of Stands, spiritual energy beings that grant the user an ability unique to them. Some stands are simple such as manipulating an element of nature, while several have shown the ability to manipulate time. One has the ability to manipulate causality even in a space where time is erased. Others can affect the body of others like melting or shrinking them down, and so on. There are also some powers with their own hax in their own right, like the power of Hamon which is especially dangerous to beings weak to sunlight such as vampires and another in one universe where, if perfected, can produce infinite amounts of energy to perform feats such as crossing dimensional borders and even into other universes.

When Jonathan finds solace in a relationship with his girlfriend Erina Pendleton, Dio steals her first kiss.
