Introduction
Heat Manipulation (also called Temperature manipulation) is the ability to manipulate freely the heat, thus the temperature of an object, for example by controlling the thermal energy itself which is what is responsible for the temperatures in objects and the environment.
The ability is fundamentally different from just Fire Manipulation or Ice Manipulation, since it can be not limited to only one range of temperatures and works in a different way by manipulating thermal energy, not by just applying the element itself.
Limitations
There can be special cases in fiction on which characters have this special ability to manipulate the heat and the thermal energy, but limited to only one range of temperatures, for example being just able to manipulate temperatures in order to just cool down an obeject or the environment and bring back it to its starting temperature, but not being able to increase it massively to generate fire, as well as the opposite.
