Noteworthy Techniques and Abilities
- Black Heaven & Earth School
Black Heaven and Earth Technique: An ultimate Ki circulation technique passed down to Un-Wol by his master. Un-Wol in turn taught Chun-Woo who then taught Shi-Woon.
- Black Origin Threshold: It is the state that represents the purest form and essence of the Black Heaven and Earth Technique. It causes the natural flow of the Ki to flow in reverse and signifies the moment when one surpasses the limits of the consciousness and the subconsciousness, the enemy & the self, and becomes the purest "Mu" (Fighting Spirit). Those who attain the Black Origin Threshold are all swallowed up by animal-like emotions, mainly rage, and lose their sense of self. All known users have been unable to distinguish between friends and enemies, attacking anyone who approaches them. While in this state, the conscious and subconscious minds seem to switch. While the subconscious mind is in control and consumed with rage, the conscious mind is left to observe what is going on leading to the users to contemplate the situation they are in. This state also grants the user a seemingly limitless amount of strength and stamina. Using this state, Chun-Woo fought and even killed several masters after being exhausted and shot twice. It even allows the user to ignore all pain and injuries. Users have been shown to keep fighting with injuries when anyone else would have died several times over.
Cry of the Phoenix: A sound based AoE technique that usually triggers when it's user becomes heavily enraged. The user lets out a sonic scream that is so powerful it can deafen those nearby and its force is so great that it can cause severe turbulence for a helicopter.
Soul Crushing Strike: The signature technique of Chun-Woo. An inner power technique in which the practitioner circulates Ki through the body and releases it through the fist while simultaneously executing a punch. It requires large Ki reserves for extended use and the ability to synchronize the release of Ki with the movement of the body. It is is a Ki strike intended to deal internal damage, such as to bones and organs
Chaotic Heaven's Destruction Strike: It is the most powerful technique of the Black Heaven & Earth School. The user takes three steps back and gathers Ki in order to launch a direct Ki strike though the fist by instantaneously leaping towards the target
Heavenly Exploding Penetration Strike: A powerful strike punch that is thrown when circling around the opponent's attack which goes through the defense.
Seismic Step: The practitioner uses one or even both the legs to stomp their target. The technique is capable of literally crushing concrete, flesh, bone and even steel.

- Others
Foot Techniques: Inner power techniques utilized by circulating ki to the ankle and synchronizing the flow of Ki with the physical movement of stepping, to initiate a foot technique. These are based on the foot movements which are used for various purposes such as after images, dodging, speed enhancing, attacking, etc.
Full Body Barrier: A defensive-offensive technique where the back, turned toward the opponent, is protected by a large circular distribution of Ki resembling a shield. Opponents who come in contact with the Ki shield are forcefully sent flying backwards.
Internal Energy Transference: Used to transfer the internal energy (Ki) from one's body to another. Chun-Woo is skilled enough to keep up internal energy transfers for hours while others would only be capable of maintaining it for a few minutes.
