Story
Bleach (ブリーチ, Burīchi; romanized as BLEACH in Japan) is a manga series authored by Tite Kubo that appeared in the Weekly Shonen-Jump magazine from August 2001 until August 2016.
It all start with Ichigo Kurosaki, a teenage boy who has the power to see spirits, one day he encounters Rukia, a shinigami, after that his family is attacked by a hollow (an evil spirit), Rukia is hurt and in order to protect Ichigo and his family transfers his powers to Ichigo, who then becomes a substitute shinigami. The early part of the story deals with Ichigo defeating hollows in Rukia's place as his agent, and how Ichigo's friends (Orihime, Chad, Uryu) start gaining there own spiritual powers, eventually Soul society comes for Rukia who is taken prisoner due to a crime, Ichigo and friends go to rescue her from Soul society, this introduces the gotei 13 (the 13 squads composed of shinigami) including there vice-captains/lieutenants and captains which play important roles later on, the soul society arc is generally agreed as quite good and the best part in Bleach. After it follows The arrancar arc, which introduces the arrancards and vizards which are hollows with shinigami powers and shinigamis with hollow powers. It also introduces the concept of hybrids and transcendentals beings.
After the Arrancar arc Ichigo loses his powers in his fight with Aizen, but during The lost shinigami arc a new group called Xcution appears and helps Ichigo regain his powers. Between the events of the Arrancar Arc and the Lost Shinigami Arc, take place the events of SAFWY novels, which talks about the 8th Kenpachi and the original Zero Espada.
The final arc is in the Thousand-Year Blood War arc which presents the WandenReich, a group of quincies drived by Yhwach, hiding in the shadows all this time trying to take down soul society and the Soul King, to create a new world without the fear of death.
BLEACH will continue his story with the novels (CFYOW) which talk about what happen after Yhwach's defeat but before the end of the manga, where a new villain named Tokinada show up, which is ultimately stopped by the Shinigami such as Zaraki Kenpachi and Hisagi with the presence of the Arrancars and Sternitters in the story.
The most recent story is about the Hell Arc, a brand new story, which is placed after the end of the manga that will involve Ichigo as an adult, his family and the Soul Society due to a new threats coming from Hell.
Power
The verse easily enters the Hypersonic+ to Massively Hypersonic ranges of speed, until reaching Relativistic and higher levels of speed for God tiers. Power wise it starts from Town level for Low tiers, Island to Country for Mid tiers, Continental to Multi-Continental level for High Tiers, Multi Solar to Galaxy for Top Tiers, & ultimately reaching Low Multiverse level for God Tiers that includes Muken Aizen, Soul King Yhwach, True Bankai Ichigo & Prime Soul King. The verse is also know for dangerous and strongs hax, noteworthy examples would be Barragan and his "aging", general Shinigami physiology with strong Soul-Hax abilities, Tsukishima and his ability to insert himself in an objects or person history, Aizen's Kyoka Suigetsu's perfect hypnosis, Head captain Yamamoto's 15,000,000 degree Zanka no Tachi, As Nodt's "instinctive" fear, Ichibei's name manipulation, Gerard's immortality, Lille Barro Intangibility and Yhwach's Almighty, more specifically you can find: Reality warping, illusion creation, fate manipulation, mind manipulation, causality manipulation, absolute zero, power nullification, Soul Manipulation, Invisibility, BFR, various level of immortalities, Law manipulation etc...
Worth mentioning that during the end of the Arrancar Arc Ichigo and Aizen transcended the plane of simple spiritual enteties and went far above the scope of power of normal spiritual beings going above the boundaries of shinigami and hollows, however there are little feats for them since they lasted only a few chapters with this level of power, so there is mostly only scaling to adress the true power they reached, hinting to a level of power just not only focused on physical strenght but something beyond it, for example Aizen's ability to interact and kill the Kōtotsu, something impossible to do for a normal Shinigami according to Gin, due to Kōtotsu nature of being likely an abstract and spiritual abilities not working on him.
The peak of Bleach is reached according to the lore, at the very start of the verse, when The Soul-King, a fully transcendental being born from nothing, in a chaos were things were mixed, decided to give a mean to life and death in a chaotic world creating the Soul Society, Hueco Mundo and the living world with their laws. Beside that, peak of God tier is reached in final saga of the manga, the thousend year blood war, when Ichigo find himself against Yhwach, the father of Quincy and Son of the Soul king.
