Summary[]
Ao Oni, also known as The Oni, is the titular main antagonist of the franchise. Ao Oni is an enigmatic, mysterious creature that lives in the abandoned mansion on the outskirts of town in Japan, instead of being scary, the anime adaptation takes a more comedic route, involving Hiroshi and his friends getting into comedic situations with Ao Oni, which ends up with the Oni brutally killing them.

Intelligence: Gifted (It's noted that the Oni was the one that set up all the puzzles, including the piano puzzle which was considered so hard that the group couldn't figure it out even after 70 years, even with a genius like Hiroshi, made a domino like effect in advance seeming to be able to know who exactly would follow which paths to lead them getting killed)
