Alva Avan Edison, also commonly known as Lord Edison or Tick Tock Man, is the main antagonist of the What a Beautiful Series. Responsible for all the bad events in the series, Edison is an evil god who delights in torturing all intelligent life. He is the Black King from a parallel world, and an Outer God who makes up the entire universe.

- Abstract Existence (Type 1; Edison consumed Yog Sothoth to become one of the traits of the Universe, space-time.[1] He is also the very concept of darkness.[2], and is the same as the concept of Jet Black like M due to sharing the same name, existence, and function[3])
- Telepathy (Can telepathically[4] communicate with others)
- Fate Manipulation (Preordained that nobody[4] would listen to Peter,[4] and also preordained that Lily[5] would destroy the Underground[5])
- Clairvoyance (Edison can see the entirety of the Underground,[6] and is able to watch the events unfolding[7] in the parallel world of Karashrer)
- Absorption & Space-Time Manipulation (Devoured Yog Sothoth, who controlled all of space-time,[1] to become all of space-time. From him, came the tick-tock of the clock.[6] Can show others the future.[8])
- Nonduality (Type 1; Edison exists within the furthest reaches of the Underground, which is a void, yet also doesn't exist within the Underground.[10] He is also both holy and unholy[6])
- Cracking (Wields the power[5] of the Cracking Effect, and it's power comes from him.[5] Bestows Cracking to others, such as The Society, and Cracking brings about the work of God/Edison. As such, Edison should have access to all Cracking abilities as well as those created by Cracking)

- Nonexistent Physiology (Type 2; The entire Underground is just a dream, it doesn't actually exist.[9] It is a void,[5] which no one will remember, and no soul can enter,[5] yet is made from the memories of the dead.[5] Edison has no emotions[8] nor a soul,[8] he is the dead thing[5] at the center of the ultimate void of chaos, the white void beyond the furthest reaches of the abyss of space.[2] He is the Black God on the Throne,[5] which is at the summit of the violet tower,[5] which exist beyond[9] the void of the Underground, and is where[5] the Underground originated.[5] Despite being visible[11] from anywhere within the Underground, the violet tower is impossible to reach by walking or train,[5] and even after the laws which shaped, and gave form to the Underground were destroyed, erasing the Underground from existence,[5] the violet tower still existed.[5] Edison exists in a void,[6] yet it's not a void[6])

Even after being shot by Lily with the Golden Gun, which contained the power of the void, and disappearing, Edison returned later with a part of his face now metal,[5] a feat akin to Underground Residents, who regenerate even after being metaphysically/conceptually destroyed, but with a part of them becoming metal)

- Enhanced Cracking, Void Manipulation, & Non-Physical Interaction with Oblivion Golden Eye (Edison is in control of the largest piece of Azathoth's Golden Eye.[1] The power of Gold outshines all,[11] and is beyond Cracking,[9] which is the law which shapes the Underground itself.[9] Using this power, which contained the power of the void itself,[5] Lily was able to harm Edison. As Edison had dominion over it, he should be capable of doing the same.)
- Dream Manipulation, Empathic Manipulation, Memory Manipulation (Created the Underground,[5] which is a formless dream of the past,[5] made from the fragments of dead men's memories, and emotions[5])
Edison has the same exact existence, function and even name as M,[3] thus he would have the same set of powers and abilities the latter has.
- Madness Inducement (Anyone who enters the Bar dies from madness.[2] The Bar is the madness of the abyss,[2] yet no one who visits it, such as Edison, think or even feel the madness[2])
As Edison has the same exact existence, function and even name as M,[3] he should access to the same resistances as the latter. Additionally, since he is also M, whose domain is the manipulation of shadows and turning blackness into power,[2], he would also have the same resistances that A does due to using M's power to manipulate shadows.

Attack Potency: High Multiverse+ (Has the same exact existence and function as M. Edison sees everything in the world of the Underground, which has[5] no end to it[5] as being trivial[6] and without meaning.[5] To him, it is just a game that only Gods are able to play chess on; it is impossible for non-God's to play chess with a God, and everything in the world of the Underground is just his toy.[5] From his perspective there is no meaning to the Underground, it's just an illusion, fiction, nothingness, which he decides what exactly it is.[5] He likewise sees the entire parallel world of Karashrer as being meaningless[7])

Speed: Omnipresence (Is the same as M due to sharing the same exact name, existence, and function. In addition, Edison is stated to be all[5] as he ate Yog Sothoth to become all of space-time[1])
Intelligence: Supergenius (Edison is a genius who dominated the field of inventions,[5] and is heralded as the world's brightest mind, with ownership over the best and most advanced technology.[13] Stole the idea of what would later become known as Cracking from Von Hohenheim, who was unable to master it, due to the human brain being unable to process the enormous calculation of equations required to transform and rewrite the world.[14] From there, he started to develop was a project known as the Cracking Effect Experiment, where he used Mega-Engine class calculation devices to grant humanity his power of Cracking. The Bar, which exists at the far reaches of dreams, the boundary between conscious and unconscious, is accessible only to those, such as Edison, who know the secrets of the Collective Unconscious,[1] which is the connection of consciousness, the synthesis of information,[8] a sea of nearly infinite knowledge[8] built up from the past to the present)

- Mega Engine Clock: A device originally meant for the end. It can both reset and destroy the world. Edison has used this exact clock to endlessly loop the Purple Underground. He has, in another world, used it to destroy the world permanently as he caused the world in Kaijin no Karashrer to become a dead world due to killing the laws of physics.
- Oblivion Golden Eye: Kadath's moon, and a large piece of Azathoth's Golden Eyes. These eyes hold the power of gold, which is said to outshine everything, and even Cracking. This power allowed a non-god like Lily to harm a God, like Edison.
