Alternates are creatures that appear in the analog horror series The Mandela Catalogue. They are demonic doppelgangers that have the ability to look like someone else that exists on planet Earth in order to catch their victims by surprise.
No one knows where they came from, but most people highly agree that Satan overthrew Jesus and forced Noah to bring a Alternate on the ark, possibly making Noah get M.A.D. in the process.
