Summary[]
Acnologia, known to be fearsomely reputed as The Dragon King, was a cataclysmically powerful Dragon Slayer that can take the form of a Dragon at any time due from his overuse of Dragon Slayer Magic and bathing in the blood of the Dragons he killed. He was referred to as Doctor in his early life that took care of Dragons but due to them murdering his family, destroying his city, and "claiming" the life of a child, he took it upon himself using the name of the Dragon whom he despised to slay every Dragon in existence, believing they only cause destruction and pain.

Even in human form, August started sweating in his mere presence) || Multi-Continent (The Ethernano reading of his Roar at Sirius Island hit an all-time high, implying not even when the council recorded the magic power at tower of heaven during Etherion blast was such a power recorded and that's not to mention, it wasn't even a fraction of his full power. Zeref states several times that there is nothing in the world that could stop Acnologia despite his knowledge of the existence of Dragon Cry and the God Dragons. In Future Rogue's timeline Acnologia even managed to conquer the entire world. Ignia also wanted to fight Acnologia to test his strength and he was expecting a fight from Acnologia. Acnologia's power was used as a reference to portray the God Dragons' power by Elefceria and Natsu compared fighting Mercphobia to fighting Acnologia with the general portayal being that Acnologia is still somewhat comparable to the God Dragons, so he should at the very least scale to a weakened Aldoron who was slowed down and weakened significantly. It should also be noted that Ignia's knowledge of Acnologia's power is likely limited considering that Igneel himself who faced Acnologia in the past misjudged his power and thought he could defeat him until he fought him when he realized Acnologia is stronger than he expected, and Acnologia didn't even consider him a worthy opponent), far higher after absorbing the Ravines of Time (gained an incomprehensibly large amount of Time Magic after he devoured the Ravines of Time. The magic power was so high even for Acnologia that his body and spirit were split into two. Mashima stated him to be the strongest character in the original Fairy Tail universe according to the setting implying he likely scales above even Phoenix's surface wiping considering that a stronger character isn't supposed to be present in the OG Fairy Tail universe)

Noteworthy Attacks and Techniques[]
Dragon Slayer Magic: As one of the first humans who entered the Dragon King Festival, Acnologia was also among the first Dragon Slayers brought into existence. Over time, however, as he slew many Dragons, he himself was, eventually, turned into a Dragon due to the extensive overuse of his Lost Magic. While it is currently unknown exactly which element Acnologia employs in his casting of Dragon Slayer Magic, it grants him the ability to reap the very souls of Dragons, leaving them in a half-dead state. Acnologia, from devouring and bathing in the blood of countless dragons, is able to consume any type of Magic element and/or "evil" aura to replenish himself.
- Dragon's Roar: Like all Dragons and Dragon Slayers, Acnologia can perform a Dragon's Roar, incorporating his respective element into a massive breath attack. While, as mentioned, which element Acnologia employs is currently unknown, said blast, while he was a Dragon, was potent enough to "completely eradicate" the entirety of Tenrou Island and imprint a giant crater into the ocean.
- Eternal Flare: Acnologia casts thousands of stars which rain down in destruction manner.
- Power of the End: Acnologia creates a destructive energy blast from the palm of his hand.
Time Magic: Acnologia after consuming the Space Between Time was able to wield this Caster Magic. With the power of time he was able to warp the seven Dragon Slayers into his world with a Rift in Space and Time.
Healing Magic: Before becoming a Dragon Slayer, Acnologia uses this magic to heal his patients while working as a doctor. However he noted it only can stop the bleeding, not fully heal fatal wounds or pain.
Shape-Shifting: Acnologia, contrary to the legends surrounding him, did not entirely become a Dragon and has retained the ability to enter and exit his extremely powerful Dragon Form at free will.
